The Pets

Sheba

Sheba is the oldest of our pets. She is a short haired American Tabby. She is about 10 years old. We say "about" because she kind of adopted us about nine years ago when we lived in New Port Richey Florida. Before that she was living in the woods so we're not really sure when she was born exactly. Now she spends most of her time looking out the windows at the lake and is no longer an outdoor cat. She loves all of us and even Sasha, but well, is not too fond of Bentley.

Sasha

Sasha will be six years old on May 3rd while we are on our trip. She is a golden retriever and has outgrown most of her bad habits. She loves the water in the summer, and the snow in the winter. She loves playing with her toys, running outside, and wrestling with her new little brother Bentley. She is also a great camping dog. Sasha is mommy's girl.

MAX

Max is a Bearded Dragon.  He is one and 1/2 years old.  He is yellow with orange spots down his back.  Some of his favorite foods are crickets, cantaloupe, zucchini, and apples.  Max is very friendly.  Sometimes he even licks my hand. 

He likes red and orange.

Daisy                            

Daisy is a dwarf rabbit.  Her birthday is May 1st.  She is white with red eyes.  Her favorite treat is rice pops.  In her cage she has a red barn.  She likes to play with us in her play pen.  She is a good little bunny.

Bentley                                                 

And then there's Bentley.  He is also a pure bred golden retriever. Bentley is the newest addition to our family and will be nine months old when we begin our trip.  Like most toddlers, Bentley gets into trouble from time to time.  He goes crazy in the snow, and mud, and rain.  We're not sure yet how he'll be in the lake, but chances are he'll be crazy there too.  Bentley is Daddy's boy, especially when he's bad.  He really wants to be friends with Sheba.
